It helped Kennedy and Clinton.
No, I don’t like it either.

Newt so far.
Perry’s not in this debate.
Sarah Palin is obviously not running. At least she has yet to announced. I doubt she will at this point. It would appear too conspicuous for her to jump in now given that it’s been rumored she would run for a few years now.

Pawlenty asked about prolife views and can only justify "life of the mother", but would sign lesser bills if it moves closer to making abortion illegal. Would support criminal penalties for doctors if they performed illegal abortions.
Romney asked about unemployment benefits. Seems to be suggesting 99 weeks more plenty. Needs to get economy going. Wants personal accounts instead of endless gov't benefits.

So, exactly what was Romney’s answer? Would he or would he not extend payments to deadbeat benefits
?

The debate focused entirely too little on the economy, debt, and taxes, imo. That’s what people want to hear about right now.

I am so glad he handed Bret his hat on that trick question.
Good for Newt.
Newt explained the 2 old quotes and their context very well.
Bret was a typical media jerk for asking such a deceitful question.

Ha, ha, shame Newt couldn’t slap Chris, but apparently he b-slapped him.
I’ve always loved Newt just as I’ve always disliked him.

Don’t need to...spent 2 years in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi working with their Airforce generals on a Telecom deal.....
You still didn’t answer the question, you just deflected....
Which means you either do not know the answer or just don’t wish to concede....LOL
