Ives, described by her lawyer as a 'talented sportswoman', is alleged to have boasted later that she had had 'the best day ever', OK, but it would help if the reporter gave us the distance of her throw and her prior personal best so we can make our own judgment.

Another person of color who hates the very white civilization that gave her FAR more than she deserves.

Now that’s a parent who cares about her child.
I would do the same thing if it were my Son or Daughter. (But I would have to beat my Husband to the phone first)
I despise overindulgent, protective “my baby would never do something like that” parents.

Well, that’ll make for some interesting conversation at the family Christmas dinner this year!

If she were wearing a wet tee shirt she would be even more not guilty.

Kudos for the guts mom showed in turning in her criminal daughter

I'm not sure that I would turn my kids in.
The punishment that I'd dish out would be a whole lot worse than the wink and a slap on the wrist the courts would come up with.
'Tis a moot point, anyway, because all of our kids were raised well enough so that they'd never do such a thing to start with! :-)

My kids knew that my Husband and I would never bail them out. They knew we meant it.
