BREAKING: Rep. Peter King Asks For Probe Into White House’s Role in Bin Laden Movie

House Homeland Security Chairman Peter King (R-N.Y.) on Wednesday demanded an investigation into a report that the White House is cooperating with a film on the mission to kill Osama bin Laden.
In a letter to the Defense Department and the CIA, King asked for a probe and classified briefing about any cooperation or consultation between the agencies and the film, set to be directed by Kathryn Bigelow, who made “The Hurt Locker” in 2008 which won six Oscars, including best picture and best director.

This so called “movie” is a campaign ad and should be identified and treated as such. I don’t think it is legal for the U.S. military to be part of campaign ads. Somebody needs to be thrown in jail.

The only people - and the numbers will be low (although, the Left will be buying up tickets and handing them out in order to give the appearance that the film’s popular)- who will be attending this ad is the choir.

I’m guessing the title of the movie is “How I Killed Osama” and the credits are:
starring Superhero Barrack Obama, with a cameo appearance by Osama Bin Laden...heh

Obama campaigned on transparency. This is such a transparent political propaganda movie, that’s for sure.
Obama will be portrayed as courageously making the call to take out Bin Laden.
It is worth looking into this to see if any laws are broken by giving Hollywood idiots classified information, just so they can make a propaganda movie.
It’s just coincidence that it will be in theaters in October 2012, at the peak of the campaign. Ya right........
I’m sure Obama will talk up killing Bin Laden as a major achievement. I can hear him now, putting in his stump speech a plug for the movie. Whoever loads up his teleprompter will undoubtedly tell us all to go see the movie to learn all the details about the operation.
What do I do if I’m walking down the street, minding my own business, and a leftist gives me tickets to go see the movie? A few people might go and see it if given free tickets.

I wonder if there’s some sort of campaign finance legislation that could be used to block this sort of thing? It’s basically being set up as pre-electio advertising, right? The White House has its fingerprints all over it, and even the media has him dead to rights on it. Pete King should be able to tie that up easier than can be.
Total waste of time and resources to investigate this. Hollywood would be GLAD to make this movie for free if it will help the One. They don’t NEED WH approval or cooperation.
