She really was a nice rat.
I think she was grateful for *not* ending up as snake food but his moving toes were just something she couldn’t resist.
Paradoxically, she’d snuggle up with him if slept on the floor.
She was albino so her eyesight was probably awful.
Who knows what she thought his toes were?
