Stock will go back up soon enough. The truly wealth people that live entirely off of investment money have nowhere else to go.

I mean it’s notlike they’re ging to get a real job and make normal living.

There aren’t a bunch of rich people sitting around playing the stock market for a living rather than holding a 9-5 job. They are going to put their money to work somewhere else if it is not in US stocks.

that sounds like something a liberal would say. A lot of people who live off investment income have already put in their long years of work. And even those who never have worked are there because of the hard work of those before. So please, keep the class envy to a minimum. It’s unbecoming.

If you are working for yourself, you are investing your money trying to accumulate wealth.

If you work for someone else, the only reason you have a job is because someone with wealth is risking their money to generate more wealth, providing you with that “normal living”.

FRiend, people that invest in the market come from all walks of life and every single one of them are trying to gain wealth from their risk.

I have two pensions and my wife continues to work, yet we are invested in stocks. My wife has put a large chunk of her wage into stocks for nearly 30 years. Within the last 3 weeks we have lost 10’s of thousands of dollars that we saved, sacrificed for, put at some risk, and had worked hard to earn.

I don’t know if we will ever get that back and that loss will not be spent by me, and as a result, some poor guy may not keep or have a job.

I am wealthy compared to some and poor compared to others.

Please have a good evening....

“I mean it’s not like they’re going to get a real job and make a normal living.”

Well, why not round them up and make them go out and get a real job?

Just asking.
