I know this because I retired after 30 years with SBC. The union routinely called the cops on strike breakers for all types of things, then they would go hack saw cables to make outages in key areas. After all, they knew the most valuable spots to knock things out to take the longest to repair.

Off topic a little,.....This is why I oppose independents having access to phone company cable records. If a contractor just got paroled, do you really want him to access cable records to a bank or pharmacy to find the burglar alarm pairs?
