Yeah Reagan and Bush really "relaxed" on their vacations.

I don’t know how Carney keeps a straight face. How humiliating to have to go out there and defend such absurdity day after day. What a joke.

I am honestly wondering if Obama just no longer really cares, because perhaps he is considering not running for reelection next year? (maybe? hopefully?) He looked physically awful during his ‘remarks’ Monday afternoon; sweaty, uncomfortable, flustered. He continues to make such poor decisions, I have to wonder if he’s just mentally not in the game anymore.

“I won’t rest until every American that wants a job has one.”

Unfortunately, this fascist is all about making sure we either work for the Guvmint or are on the Guvmint dole.

All part of the plan. He’ll sit around Martha’s Vineyard with his puppetmasters and they’ll watch the country go away. And all the media will show is him licking on ice cream cones. They won’t show who else is “working” with him.

Yes, I remember how Bush was attacked for going on vacation, as was Reagan years ago as well.

In fact, some liberal radical types blame Sept. 11th on the fact that Bush was at his ranch for most of August 2001. They point to the “smoking gun” presidential daily briefing of Aug. 6, 2001, which said that Bin Laden wanted to hijack airplanes, and say that Bush was on vacation at a critical time, and allowed Sept. 11th to happen because of it.

But, if dear leader 0bama goes on vacation, then the liberal spin is that the president is never really on vacation, and who could begrudge him some time away with the family, yadda, yadda, yadda.

See, the criteria for judging presidential actions, including vacations, are different, depending on whether that president is Republican or Democrat.

Nicolas Sarkozy, the French president, cut short his vacation and promised to reduce huge debts following fears it could be the next triple A-rated economy to suffer a downgrade.

Societe Generale, France’s second-biggest bank, where U.S. traders have focused their attention, saw its shares drop as much as 20 percent, reports Telegraph UK.

This prompted leading credit ratings agencies Fitch and Moody’s to reiterate the eurozone nation’s top rating, coming a day after Standard & Poor’s had done the same.

French banks’ shares tumbled in Paris trading even after a Societe Generale spokeswoman denied rumors of trouble. BNP Paribas dropped 9.5 percent.

A London-based trader offered, “The market is quite jittery and France seems to be the next one on everyone’s radar, hence there is selling in French banks,” the Telegraph reports.

France is currently the world’s fifth-biggest economy and a cornerstone driver of the eurozone.

Some analysts have warned that France cannot afford to continue bailing out poorer European states, especially at a time when its own growth rates are moderating.

Mr Sarkozy, along with other European leaders, has come under criticism for staying on holiday as the markets were awash with fear.

He cut short his vacation on the French Riviera to summon key government ministers for an emergency meeting on the financial crisis, reports the Telegraph.

No new measures were announced, but Mr Sarkozy insisted that “commitments to reducing the deficit are inviolable and will be maintained.”

In an effort to reassure jittery markets, Mr Sarkozy said these “pledges will be kept whatever the evolution of the economic situation,” the Telegraph reports.

We’ll even give him Camp David on the weekend.”

As I understand it, the family doesn’t like Camp David. At least Bush went to his own less than palatial home in Texas and even had quite a few meetings with leaders of other countries there.

Obama was finally squeezed into going to Camp David last weekend.

He was under pressure and needed a break, but if he went to a real vacation destination he would have been walloped in the press so he reluctantly chose Camp David.

He really doesn't like it there. Probably too many pictures of white Presidents on the walls.

With our economy dying like a great white whale (and Barky harpooning it like Captain Ahab) every obama family vacation photo is like a campaign ad for the GOP in 2012!

Go Barry!

Moochy says pass the lobsta!

Ya gotta wonder if Carney ever gets tired of covering for the Idiot-In-Chief.

I'd say no. I looked up his life history, and like Bobby Gibbs he's been a devout leftist his entire life. Only the truest of true believers could be appointed Baraqqi press guy.
