NEW YORK (TheWrap.com) - Jon Stewart says the worst part about conservative complaints of media bias is when they contain "a kernel of truth" -- and that conservatives have a point about Newsweek's unflattering Michele Bachmann cover.
The cover describes her as "The Queen of Rage." Stewart called Newsweek out on Tuesday's "The Daily Show" for using cheap attempts to undercut the Minnesota representative and Republican presidential candidate.
He mocked the magazine's statement that it ran the photo to capture the way she has galvanized Iowa voters.
"I get it, Newsweek," Stewart said. "You put in 'The Queen of Rage' juxtaposed with a picture of a lady that appears to be enchanted by simple math being done on a blackboard that's been hung too high. Or maybe it's a child thinking of cake!.

He added: "Shame on you, Newsweek. And your editor, Tina Brown," before posting the least flattering Brown photo he could find.
BTTT!
First of all, my gaydar went off because of all his effeminate mannerisms. But I've been told he's not a homosexual.
Occasionally he can be funny, but not enough laughs to watch his show.
Total content of his show is about 22 minutes a day, just four days a week. Of that 22 minutes, only about half is his opening monologue. And for that, he has dozens of Ivy League writers.
They call it "snark" but his shtick is just snide. Demeaning ridicule, with lots of f***ings and sh*ts. His audience is particularly repulsive, howling and hooting and applauding rather than laughing. Reminds me of the Cool Table in high school where everyone wanted to get on the good side of the Mean Kid so they wouldn't get made fun of with the dorks and the jocks.
And the rest of Comedy Central is just an overflowing toilet. Of course, I used to love Red Skelton and Carol Burnett. Nothing like that, anymore.
But Stewart is important, and all this "I don't watch him" is not the way to bring him down.
Truly, I don't believe Obama would be in office without Stewart, since he managed to get all these mouth-breathing, basement-dwelling stoners to go to the polls.
I know people who subscribe to Newsweak, but, unfortunately, I have contact with liberals.
What Stewart is really saying is “Don’t make your bias so obvious, Newsweak (intentional mispelling to reflect the truth)”.
Jon’s doing better than the proverbial broken clock - he’s also defended Sarah Palin - and he’s taken on members of the MSM for us. For a liberal that takes balls.
My BIL watches him every night and agrees with him.
Why are you angry about a person defending us against a biased media? Use your anger against a liberal..
not safe for work
Look at the eyes. And he has two small children. This is their daddy, a mean, filthy-minded and potty-mouthed punk.
No Jon....stay in your corner...YOU SHALL NOT PASS!
That was a veiled hit piece on Michele, even though it did contain some truth and funny moments.
Better than getting news from what passes for “news” shows these days, though....
What a phony Stewart is.
My 50ish sister-in-law for one. She's a hip one alright. It just occurred to me - she might be going through a mid-life crisis. She's changed a lot lately.
The only Google hit is this thread.
“I thought Barney Frank was the Queen of Rage
No just a raging queen.”
I’d like to nominate this one for Comeback of the Week!
Thank you for your kind reply.
I made an error—you should use the search on youtube. And the URL is several posts back.
He's the Queen of Wage.
