If we take all three branches next year, what you ask is possible and necessary. Until whole departments are eliminated, they will continue to screw up our economy.

I would also add the following BIG BANG to the judiciary:

Dis-establish the entire federal court system (except Scotus of course) and replace them with Constitutionalists. We must have judges willing to clean 80 years of Marxist sand in our Constitutional gears. These d@mn judges think they are philosopher kings entitled to rewrite the Constitution when they feel like it. It ‘aint so.

And Patty Murray is just the mom in tennis shoes. So there’s the Democrats showing us that moms everywhere are represented on this committee. (sarcasm)

Theoretically this committee could produce some good work. But realistically, we will get one-liners, political statements, grandstanding, and a series of 6-6 votes on specific proposals when this committee gets down to business.

The votes of all of us in November 2012 will do a lot more to fix this budget/debt mess than the votes on issues which will come from this committee.

We spent a bunch of money on the Debt Commission that bigearz appointed last year. They reported their findings/recommendations last December; and the results of that effort is now a big ZERO. Why does anybody thing another new bunch of clueless politicos will do anything special this time?......just askin’, folks.
