I do not understand what you mean. Why are you saying second amendment rights are not widely supported? Could you elaborate in a way that doesn't get us both thrown off FR?

I'm saying that there are too many people in the US that aren't adamant about 2nd amendment rights, or who are willing to see that right abridged. And I think most of those people are urban or suburban. And I think that black crime (or gun violence, to use their vernacular) is the main reason. Country folk are more likely to support gun rights in part because they don't live near a black neighborhood.

I realize they are demented—that living closer to a criminal area should make them want to pack heat, I’m just saying that’s how they “think.”
