You are absolutely correct. I got my car trashed back in 1984 simply because I had a Reagan/Bush bumper sticker on my car and then again in 1988 with a Bush/Quayle bumper sticker. It wasn't provocative or anything. But in San Francisco with the type of people you have there, it's a license to destroy. The SF police just said I should have known better. I asked him would that happen to a car with a Mondale bumper sticker, and he just laughed. It's the type of people who are liberals and Democrats. There's a rent-a-mob type of person who are in many cities and San Francisco has a ton of them.
