Reid’s decision to tap Murray will likely be met with scrutiny, as she is also chairing the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee for the 2012 election cycle In other words, everything the Dems do on the committee will be geared toward re-election efforts.
That's the message...loud and clear.
Oh, and Murray will give Kerrey lots of face-time since he is up for re-election.
And, of course the other MA Senate seat (Brown's) is in play also.
