With outrage from right to left over Newsweeks Queen of Rage cover story photo of Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann in which she looks crazy, or at least empty-headed, a look back at how during the last campaign the magazine, under previous ownership, made sure candidate Barack Obama always looked presidential. The image below was collated for the Scrapbook page in the July 28, 2008 Weekly Standard, which dubbed Newsweek Obamaweek and illustrated the media's infatuation with Obama by displaying images of six Newsweek covers featuring Obama.

I don’t really understand the outrage. Doesn’t everybody know Newsweek is a left-wing rag? Would it be surprising if Mother Jones endorsed Obama?

We saw NOW complain which ensured both the "newsworthiness" of the cover and furtherance of the Left's agenda.
NOW can look good by claiming the cover is sexist while helping Newsweek destroy Bachmann by bringing attention to their hit piece. It's a win-win for the Left. And the Right look like crybabies by inference because they must be the ones complaining about the treatment of the crazed Republican woman.
Newsweek, as part of the regime’s propaganda machine, is just doing what it does.
