Since things important to Michelle Malkin are probably
Front Page items on Freerepublic, this has been added to Front Page... Admin Mods can also modify.
But I feel the elections today in Wisconsin are important and worth watching...

From the
MacIver Institute graphic, you have the following donations to the recall election in Wisconsin [donations against the Republican Senators]:
AFL-CIO -> $5 million +
NEA -> $200,000 +
AFSCME -> $2.8 million +
This money, and others, go into a group called We are WI, which totals $11 million +
The graphic also shows MoveOn.org (California) is involved.
It is hard to read the image to get all the numbers...

The good news is that there are some
Freepers that are precinct workers in Wisconsin. There are at least two in precincts there...
Since they actually live in Wisconsin [as opposed to some folks who may be voting but not live in Wisconsin], they can try to make this a hopefully somewhat honest election.
But with Union Thugs involved, the NEA, and MoveOn.org, who knows...

In our area (Darling v Pasch) its reported in some areas that turnout could be close to Presidential level.
Shorewood out real strong (favors Pasch)
Maybe 50/50 here in Bay
Huge turnout from reports in Mequon, Germantown, Menominee Falls (Strong Darling areas).
We shall see but at least here in Darling’s district I think we hold.

I kind of wish we had a Breaking News thread covering this in Wisconsin. But do we start just an Election watch thread or what?

We have one now!
I posted a comment in another thread about needing a Breaking News story, and that thread got bumped!

What time do the polls close? Do they have voter ID in place?

I don’t think they did voter id. Bad move when you control the show before an election like this.

Oops!
I did not grab the right link for the graphic [to see it clearly] from the MacIver Institute. Kudos to the MacIver Institute!!!
Below is a graphic that is much more readable:
It is on a web page called:
Liberal Recall Money Matrix
Worth seeing where the millions of dollars in recall money is coming from that is targeting the Republicans...

YES, Wisconsin DID pass Voter ID - but as the wheels of Gubmit move slowly it will not be activated / legal for this election. Bad call, isn’t it?
At one polling place in the primaries, a Dem rat literally tossed his voter ID at a poll worker. Well, well, you can’t purchase any liquor, get a movie or see the doctor without showing ID. What the heck, Dems? Rock moved, bugs scurrying in sunlight. ha ha ha ha. LOVE it.
