I am sure the media in Britain does not want people in general to know the racial makeup of rioters. Unless it’s mostly white people.

On the contrary, the British media have made no bones about the fact that this began in a black Afro-Caribbean (mostly Jamaican) neighbourhood, where the 'gangsta' culture is rife.

Maybe some of the media, all the UK sites I’ve read don’t mention it. Maybe people in England automatically know beacuse of the locations.
