Never mind the ENDLESS ninny laws about shooting people, or assaulting them. Must be attacking YOU directly, not *mere* property, must not be running away, all that Total @%$!#@$!@$ BS. Many people won’t use their guns just because of what they think might happen to them AFTER the riot is finally over.
Do you remember the ‘68 riots? They destroyed our cities, forever. Laws were generally LOOSER then, and still a giant outrage (”disrespect”?) amongst blacks instigated their rampage over whole cities in a short time, regardless of allowing guns (yes, my dad brought his hunting guns over to my grandparents’ house so they could protect themselves at the outskirts of Baltimore).
Think of all the out-of-control “collegiate” scum who riot after every basketball game these days, when they WIN. The police don’t shoot them and no-one else does, either, though they loot and pillage. The police might use tasers, or nightsticks, but mostly, they do NEXT TO NOTHING about this.
Don’t be naive about how our country has hamstrung itself with all kinds of asinine laws, and the attitude that goes with it.
