Carlos Hathcock is quoted in said bookSo, in other words, we are supposed to just take Craig Roberts' word for it that Carlos Hathcock used the training grounds at Quantico for his own personal amusement?
Frankly, that seems out of character.

An attributed quote in a published book is a lie? It happens I guess. Reproducing one of the most infamous assassinations in American History hardly sounds like “personal amusement” and more like a very good counter sniper training exercise. He was a trainer after all. This book was also released years before Hathcock died and he would have been glad to “correct” a lie told about him.
