Tea Partiers Celebrating Credit Downgrade (Axelrod: It's "The Tea Party Downgrade") (Barf Alert)
Gawker ^ | July 7, 2011 | Staff

Obama adviser David Axelrod has started calling Standard & Poor's major diss of America's credit rating the "Tea Party downgrade," which certainly sounds like an insult against the Tea Party. Yet the Partiers themselves seem to be embracing Axelrod's wannabe-pejorative as a compliment.

The above video, posted by the grassroots/progressive/not Scott Walker-supporting PAC We Are Wisconsin and elaborated upon by Mother Jones, was taken at an event hosted by the Tea Party Express in the town of Fond du Lac. The Tea Party's been riding its big glorious bus all over the Cheesehead State, trying to get people to vote for their terrible Republican state senator friends who might be recalled at the election booths this Tuesday. (One of the speakers allegedly told the crowd that the recall elections are just like 9/11.)

The woman talking in the video's from Florida, but she understands Wisconsin's pain. But also their pride! For they and their folding chairs made the downgrade happen, and have therefore secured their place in American economic history. Haters gonna hate.

The left-wing considers the credit rating downgrade a gift, they are actually happy with the downgrade as fodder for their hate-spewing demagoguery, democrats as the monkey-wrench of American politics.

The left keeps this up, we'll get another downgrade this week. S&P does not like the left.

- Obama: “S&P made 2T error”

- Axelrod: “TP’s fault”: we need to restrict citizen participation.

- Geithner: “Didn’t really happen.”

- DNC- “Taxes too low and spend more”

- Chicoms- “The days of borrowing your way out of messes is over”

Obama inherited a AAA rating, Axelrod. Your guy screwed the pooch with his/your crappy spending. You purposely grew the public sector instead of the private sector. Obama/you have spent $5 Trillion and we don't even have a new bridge to show for it.

When Clinton left office, the debt to GDP ratio was 57%. When Bush left office (eight years later), the ratio was 69%. After 2.5 years of the Obama-Axelrod/Mugabe Rule the ratio is 97%.

The Senate has not had a budget for more than 800+ days. Obama, after being warned by the rating agencies proposed such an irresponsible budget that it was voted down by the Reid Senate by 97-0.

Obama’s best buddies, Pelosie and Reid have had control of the House and Senate from January 1 2007. He and his fellow Democrats have been in control of the purse for 4+ years now.

The Repubs have had the House for just 7 months now. They have passed the Ryan bill which Obama attacked ferociously. The House passed the CC&B bill that was tabled by the Senate and was declared DOA by Obama. How is this fiscal mess the Republicans’ fault?

OBAMA/Axelrod = EPIC FAIL

It is Keynesian economics that has failed the socialists who used it as an excuse to build a road paved in gold to Utopia. Too bad they used long discredited economic policy. Instead of a road paved in gold to Utopia, they paved themselves a road of crap that is leading this great nation to hell. It was no Tea Party Patriot that lifted one shovel to help them. The DemonRATs and some stupid Republicans did it all by themselves.

SOMETHING IS ROTTEN IN THE HOUSE OF USA!

It is time to clean house of our sh!t making politicians who don't even take the time to study up on sound economic policy.

The leftist MSM is insane.

The people trying to stop the debt spending is blamed for the downgrade? The downgrade was caused by debt.

It’s insane and unconscionable to assign the blame for the high levels of government spending and the resulting enormous Federal debt to those who are (and have been for decades, in many cases) adamantly and categorically opposed to debt, deficit spending, Unconstitutional spending and Keynesian stimulus spending.

It’s Obama’s Downgrade. It happened while he was President, as a direct consequence of a law he gleefully signed, and in spite of intense opposition to increasing the US debt burden any further.

Creditworthiness is always downgraded only when debt levels rise, never because they fall.

So I went to a “church” for a while and the minister said that for a thing to be ....it first had to be thought of. i.e. a chair cannot be without someone first thinking of the concept, etc.

I’m reminded of Obama carrying his book of the Post American World - or whatever the title is. This is POTUS who has been thinking of the USA being downgraded the entire time.

Build it and they will come.

It’s a hell of a thing to be for reducing spending these days - typical Congress rebellion. Seems to me that if it weren’t for the Tea Party, we would be another few trillion in debt.

Geez, are Democrats ignorant and stupid - don’t bother answering that hypothetical... I already know the answer..

Thank goodness somebody is standing up for America! Go Tea Party!!

Out with the old, in with the new. "Bush's fault" is so yesterday. There's a new "Tea Party's fault" bandwagon to jump on. Typical childish minds always blaming others for their problems ... liberals and RINOs. Once people make the connection, I think we'll see an epic failure and huge backlash on the politicos employing this tactic.
