We’ve got A-10’s at Selfridge ANGB but I have no idea why we’d need tank killers and close air support based on the western shore of Lake St. Clair. There’s also a DHS presence and I don’t mean the MI Department of Human Services, either.
On the other hand though, there are quite a few KC-135’s on duty which means the A-10’s are not as limited in range as one might otherwise think.
Got to keep an eye on those Canadians.
