Interesting to see who backs West and Wasserman Schultz
Sun-Sentinel ^ | 8/7/11 | Alan Bergstein

Posted on 08/07/2011 11:17:43 AM PDT by Nachum

I was shocked to read Anthony Man's article, "Powerful legislators banking on 2012 battles," in which he details the fundraising by Allen West and Debbie Wasserman Schultz. West raised $1.6 million and Wasserman Schultz $902,000. While both are tidy sums, I was taken aback by the disclosure that Schultz's "contributions of less that $200 from individuals accounted for 0.7 percent," while West's "donors, who gave less that $200 dollars each, accounted for half of West's total."

The liberal smear machine only works if the victim co-operates.

Profound! Like Rush says: you fight absurdity with absurdity - IOW, ridicule. Alinsky knew this, also! Alinsky knew this because he knew that the Left would offer more absurdity than his adversaries.

The left has taken full advantage of "white guilt". But their comes a time when the grandsons of "white guilt" don't feel the guilt. That time is coming of age.

Allan West may have had an advantage on account of his being black and all that. O.J. Simpson taught us that the Ace of Spades beats the Queen of Hearts in a pinch. Hell! Tammy Bruce, then head of the L.A. NOW chapter at the time, quit and became a conservative because she was told to stay muzzled during the O.J. trial.

Nevertheless, I really believe the power of the activist left is a mile wide and an inch deep. Recall the laughable occasions when the Jesse and Al axis actually try to organize and carry out a boycott (as opposed to threatening one).

I’m convinced the best way of weakening this bunch is to simply provoke them at every opportunity. Look at how far that egomaniac Donald Trump got by getting in their faces.

We are headed there this Wednesday. Doing some fishing on the Ruby River too. Don’t know if I can go cold turkey on the political scene though.

Give it a try...it’s tough, but makes life a lot more enjoyable. Where are you staying?

At a local hotel at Yellowstone but the Jackson House close to the Ruby for our week of fishing. Any suggestions?
