I’ve noticed on some of the PBS kids shows the grandkids watch, they’re pimping Chinese language instead of Spanish like they used to.

Looks like the handwriting is on the wall.

Only if they replace the Lincoln penny and start minting dollars as 3/4 inch coins made out of copper (okay, 97.5% zinc, 2.5% copper). With hyperinflation, that should be about right by 2016 if the GOP leadership manages to lose in 2012.

FWIW, "Red China" isn't so Communist these days. Communism didn't work, but they still call themselves "Communist" for reasons of face.

The Chinese government is as dictatorial as ever, but they have a market economy of sorts, and a very minimal welfare state.

In the 1930's such a system would have been called Fascist. That was before the word "Fascist" became just a leftist cuss-word.
