Obama and his thugs get to everyone and everything. Recall how the AATP and AMA endorsed Obamacare?! I was astounded, but then later learned they were bought off in the deal. That is why I fear this Super Congress of the Gang of 6’s. They will focus on the GOP selections like flies. Digging into their past and present like no one ever did. They will destroy and personalize it to the point they will not be able to do the right things.

Why does Fox hold debates without the main contenders even in?

If Fox wanted to make a few bucks and up ratings, they could hold a "non contenders" debate, and invite Perry and Palin to debate current events. It would be a sell out, and prove very interesting. Moreso because there would be more agreement than actual disagreement.

Funny, because while you were posting that I was talking to rodguy about the people who don’t read news or understand what’s going on.

Myself, I think we need to think outside the box for these people.

Here are some ideas:

1. Contests with prizes! First 10,000 people on welfare who get a job and hold it for one year get a $10,000 tax-free cash prize! Students who get through college without taking one student loan get start-up money for a car or apartment!

2. Assemble the coolest, most-attractive young conservatives and star them in reality shows, musical groups, etc. Make them COOL.

3. Early intervention: privately run FREE summer camps (charity not government) who will take inner-city kids and get them re-educated on how to get through school and make money. Teach them real English.

4. Shame. We need to make it a priority to show people that certain behavior is shameful, and that includes both celebrities and government officials. A priest I heard two years ago (older, I must admit) decried that Monica Lewinsky got a book contract instead of retiring to private life in disgrace...not to mention Clinton.

5. Games. We need video games that help children understand economics and self-sufficiency.

Anyway, you get my idea.

Love your example of Penny presenting one of Sheldon’s paper and having to answer questions about it. Big Bang Theory is my favorite program on TV right now.

Great one Bernard.

And of course there is no mention at all of Connie Macks Mack Penny Solution which eliminates the automatic 8% yearly increases in the budget and instead eliminates 1% of the spending. It balances the budget in 7-10 years but few if anyone in the DBM will even acknowledge it since they know it works but does not advance socialism and worse yet was devised by an evil Tea Party Pat.

LOL. You can add comic books to the list and invent some conservative superhero with super powers to battle the evil progresssive empire led by villians like Pelosi, Reed, and Obama.

Big Hair Mass moron asked him gotcha questions based on absurd premises. In spite of J effin Kerry's imbecilic queries

Kerrys questions were statements made to look like a questions when in fact they were stated to create doubt to the listening audiance.

Being a Christian I have watched carefully to see the tactics the enemy of mens souls uses.....poltiticians use them in mass....creating doubt is generally the first step... ..especially if the arguement is a strong one and is making a differrence to the listener....as well if the climate of speaking is reasonably calm.

Kerry followed that pattern exactly to a tee when he attempted to oppose Rubio....which is why I think Rubio just went on explaining his points...he wasn't about to let Kerry take the wind out of sail.

They will focus on the GOP selections like flies.

Political blackmail will be in full play on these selections as much once they are seated in the committee. It's a bad deal all around.

I would have to be forced, with my eyelids glued open, and my seat superglued to the chair, to watch MTP and those two discuss anything.

I was thinking Chinese water torture, or bamboo shoots under the fingernails. No way!!

Right now the Democrat Media machine is in full panic mode trying to spin this as a result of "the Tea Partiers blocking the Washington political process from operating"

I hope Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glen Beck and the rest of the Conservative/Libertarian talkers in the media hammer home this fact starting tomorrow.

The Debt Deal IS normal Washington procedure in action. It is exactly this typical DC procedure of kicking the political can down the road that lead to the US Downgrade. S&P is reacting to that "normal political process" to downgrade us since our political class shows it is NOT serious about addressing this problem!

In a previous Wallace interview with Beers from S&P, my synopsis was his statements about future costs associated with entitlements as one of the most important factors to their downgrade. Anyone else pick up on this?

Okay, I'm answering my own question....Yes, he did say this. FR thread, S&P Chief Looks at Entitlement Reform to Resolve Debt Downgrade

................"David Beers, global head of sovereign and international public finance ratings at S&P, told "Fox News Sunday" that governments and Congresses come and go, but spending on entitlements persistently drags U.S. debt further into the red.

"The key thing is, yes, entitlement reform is important because entitlements are the biggest component of spending, and the part of spending where the cost pressures are greatest," Beers said. "............

...............""It appears that for now, new revenues have dropped down on the menu of policy options. In addition, the plan envisions only minor policy changes on Medicare and little change in other entitlements, the containment of which we and most other independent observers regard as key to long-term fiscal sustainability," the announcement reads."...............

Rush Limbaugh made a point this week that more and more Conservatives need to be making.

If you confiscate every dime of wealth from those with $10,000,000 or more, it would fund the Fed Government at current spending rates for 24 days. Mind you that is confiscating EVERYTHING, their homes, their assets, their bank accounts everything. There is not enough wealth in the "Rich" to fund our Fed Government no matter how much the Feds take.

The Federal Government must make real cuts in it's spending to get our fiscal house in order.

"Paul Ryan needs to replace Boehner,"

Better yet, Paul Ryan needs to step up, run for President and replace Obama. Ryan-Rubio would be an invincible ticket and could well give us the White House for the next 16 years

Not true. That is the Democrat propaganda talking point. S&P said no such thing. What S&P said is

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0811/60803.html

One day after lowering the nation’s platinum triple-A credit rating, Standard & Poor’s analysts warned Saturday that the U.S. government could face a second downgrade if the economy continues to struggle and the government fails to make the cuts outlined in the debt ceiling agreement.

Fox News just had a Netroots NUT, Ryan Clayton, on claiming the Tea Party was holding a gun to the hostages head and it is their fault there was a downgrade! He said, “are you happy now, Tea Party”?

******

As Breitbart struck up a conversation with Slate blogger Dave Weigel, Ryan Clayton, who works for US Uncut and blogs on 100ProofPolitics, began screaming questions at Breitbart: “Have you kicked your cocaine habit?”

“I have no cocaine habit,” Breitbart told him.

“Have you ever slept with a prostitute?” Clayton asked, almost physically trembling as he worked himself up.

Very true MM.

Trouble with the left using the New Media is that they have run out of excuses. People don't buy their pap anymore. Many of those using computers, listening to talk radio, FNC and the rest have no use for the foolish rants of the left.

Just now I watched David Axelrod interviewing old Bob on CBS and he looked pathetically desperate trying the same old lines to prop up his failing regime.

Axel says all the ills of the country are due to the evil Tea Party and their evil ways.(after all, demanding that we don't spend more than we take in is anti-American-in new-speak/dem-chat)Axel said that ozero had a 4 trillion dollar deal for us but the Tea Party pats would not stand for what he wanted. Sounded good but the truth is always something else for ol' Axel.

Axel still wants to blame Bush and the incredibly bad economy that they inherited. Nothing is ever zeros fault. Also Congress is to blame for not agreeing 100% with ozeros needs for more infrastructure spending provided by Bernankes QE 71 and 72!

Axel never gave one reason why we should get out of the situation we are in using capitalism only approved socialist methodology. No mention of energy, freeing up business restraints or anything that could actually help the country. He just played the blame game and creates more EPA laws and rules and regs are all designed to tank capitalism, the economy and our way of life.

Axel could not stop applauding how wonderful ozero is even though the roof on the white House is now falling in on them.
