EDL men and ex-football hooligans are honourable?. If you truly think that, then god help you. The young men and women of your nation and mine fighting in Afghanistan are honourable in true meaning of the word.
If you truly think men whose idea of a hobby a few years ago was causing violence, intimidation and fear to town and city centres across Britain and whose current political stance is to support a movement whose leaders all have convictions for violence and racist crimes (not to mention many of the mass of EDL supporters) are honourable, then I feel sorry for you.
And no, I dont care if I offended you because a couple of EDL men are cyber-friends of yours. Because I am from the country they are from and I know what they do and what they are. I am British. They are British. So I more than you have the right to pass judgement on what they are. If that offends, tough sh*t, pal.
Good friends of yours?. Who cares?. I have no doubt the junkie burglar who tried to burgle my house in Sept 2008 has family and friends. Dosent mean he isnt a junkie scumbag. Even low lifes have friends.

I happen to be a Christian and I believe in redemption. People can change-—they do it all the time. Ever meet a “former drunk?” If I say that someone is a “former” or “reformed” hooligan, that is exactly how I am reading them. And i am a very good judge of character.
One even confided that he investigated C18 but decided against them because of the racism and raw extremism.
If you are looking for friends with pristine personal histories, you obviously have no time for somebody like me-—I wouldn’t even start to meet your standards.
