I stopped listening to Ingraham awhile ago, her show is a scream fest and when she’s not whining she’s hawking books, t-shirts, etc. etc. etc. She teases a story for an hour and a half then spends about 40 seconds on it - as for rush, well, I can’t stand listening to the ego inflation - most days he spends at least an hour if not more talking about himself or talking about the media talking about him - he can be condescending and doesn’t take criticism very well - I want someone who talks about the issues not himself, not his golf game, not his cigars, his jet, or what kind of candles he uses or what kind of beef he buys I don’t want to listen to someone who rolls into the fetal position or be condescending when someone disagrees with him or points out something that is incorrect. He isn’t trust worthy, he lied in the past about meeting with obama then came clean when it was suspected that someone was going to tell everyone about it - he’s not better than the politicians he talks about everyday.
I don’t know, Rush isn’t perfect, but no one is. I am prepared to dump on anyone who doesn’t listed to opposing views but I have no idea where you’re coming from there, he seems to have more calls from people who disagree with him than any talk show I’ve heard. (If he were that much afraid of them, they never would get on.)
I only listen to these folks for a little bit, but they are on for hours and hours each day. If everything in your post is accurate (I’m not accusing you of anything, btw, just don’t know what you refer to with the Obama reference), that’s not a whole lot to hold against a guy who’s been providing me with a lot of things to think about for over 20 years.
Maybe I give him a pass, but he’s earned it, and as I say, I only drop in and listen. I’d rather be doing something else if I’m at home.
