It took me 30 seconds to find the special ops version on the internet...which I linked. One would assume that an ex-Chinook pilot, BS'ing on the radio, has the same search skills as myself.

I wouldn't look at it that way. Most military pilots aren't airplane junkies like some of us (myself included) are. They just serve their time flying the things and then get out.

A number of years ago I had the honor of meeting a couple Doolittle Raiders. I made the honest mistake of starting to ask them some details about their B-25s. They made it pretty clear to me ("We didn't think about much other than flying the things" I think was the comment back) that they never cared about the planes at the level of detail I did. So long as the planes worked, they were just tools to them.
