Whew - I try - but boy is it tiring! LOL I think I understand how moms get that “empty nest” thing - after chasing after teenagers for four years of high school it must be very very strange to have no where you have to run to. And I have to say I am not looking forward to that day at all! :)
Sonboy left @ 18 for a couple of years & yes, with only one it left a void. About the size of the Royal Gorge! lol
But it’s the natural progression...and sometimes they come back for a bit....:)
When we were at that age we left home @ 17-18 & never went back. It’s harder for them these days oft times.
