Sounds like everyone in central Texas wants to change their lawns now. That has been the main subject on the garden show today.

Here's an example of cordinated independence that pushes the envelope. Richard Bailey's right hand never seems to know (or care) what his left hand is doing. His right hand throws off-beats almost at random and them turns them around onto the downbeat, all while his left hand fills the gaps with little regard to the backbeat that somehow stays constant (even when it's not there). He never once looses the funky grove he established from the start and he doesn't overshawdow Jeff Beck's genious of staying "in the pocket" although most players would simply fall over trying to listen to Bailey's counterpoint and almost constant flipping of the beat.

And another dirty little secret is that sometimes doing a solo,
Sometimes what we intend to play isn't always what comes out.
We are far from perfect
( shhhhhhhhh!)that needs to be our little secret!

Sidenote: Conversly, sometimes what comes out is exactly what was intended, especially in the case of a demanding composer. This excerpt from a legendary duet featuring Terry Bozzio on the drum kit and Ruth Underwood on marimba and various idiophones (with supporting interludes from the band) was composed note for note by Mr. Zappa, thus the name.
The score was so crowded with notes it was lovingly referred to as "Ant $hit Marching".
