You sound like a reasonable man. I’ll take your opinion into consideration. One of biggest concerns is the democrats will paint him as “Another George Bush” because he’s governor of Texas. How do we handle that?
I think if he gets into the race and people see him, take him in, listen to him, he's going to be a natural to sway people to his side. You may disagree with me, but this man walks onto a stage and "screams" presidential. I know that may sound simplistic and weak, but that quality by itself can be compelling. He has that about him, in a HUGE way. Just wait and see how people respond to him. I also think he comes off more intelligent and polished than Bush. Like someone said, Romney + BBQ sauce = Perry. LOL I know that's an insult, but I sorta like it myself.
So what? Did you see all of the Bush interviews when he released his book. He is a man of character and will go down in history as a fine President with one of the top best first lady’s. Only fault of Dubya’s is he did not fight the Alinsky smears in the end because he was leaving politics. So they went on awhile. But all of that has been rectified. See my screen name and the water boarding helped get bin laden. The media will try this tactic you’re correct but with Perry it will last 5 seconds. They would smear Jeb Bush like this as well but I saw a lot of recent interviews and he is a top notch intelligent man.
