And obviously a brilliant actor. Few have played more patriotic, gentle, honest traditional people than he has...and just as obviously, he didn’t mean a word he spoke as any of those characters.
There is no need to go further than Tom to demonstrate that actors are fundamentally dishonest and the society that takes any of them in the least serious is far down the path of self-destruction.
