Absolutely irrelevant, actually.
What do you think that Israel, the Brits and possibly the French (under Sarko) would do under such circumstances?
The biggest challenge wouldn't be in getting Obama to launch ... it would be to get Bibi NOT to take out the entire Arab/Persian world and just contain an Israeli nuclear counterstrike to Iran.
