I agree with you that Obama is an electoral loser but because of the black vote the Dems can’t primary him. It’s almost fun to watch them squirm.
In fact I’d be willing to bet there is only one way Obama wins reelection: the Pubs nominate another gutless moron. And that’s what makes me squirm.
I’m with you in hoping the GOP eschews a RINO or otherwise gutless and unacceptable candidate. However, I believe Obama will be so unpopular by Nov ‘12 we could win even with a weak nominee. The only thing that could lose it for us is a three way race. Trump is talking about doing that, but if he doesn’t somebody else probably will. This is how a hugely unpopular Duval Patrick got a second term in MA, and he is an Obama mentor. So we know that is their plan. Let’s hope and pray it fails to materialize.
