Of course, once everyone starts conserving, they'll jack up the rates anyway.
In 2006 TXU wanted to build 5 new power plants but the envirowackos including the democratic leaning mayor, Laura Miller, demanding that they be halted. The company was sold and the plants which would be on line now - are not avaiable to help . People forget we are growing and folks from Calif and NYC want a/c not heat stroke - build baby build.
