What is obvious is that “gun-free zones” do not bring freedom. An entire campus can be shut down over a prank, or a mistaken notion.

Freedom means having the ability to defend yourself.

Precisely. The only thing these idiotic gun bans do is guarantee the only person or people on campus with guns is/are bad people.
