Went to the Verizon store in eastern PA today around 3:00. Couldn't do business because computers were down. Went home and called back about 7:45. Computers are still down and the salesperson said they were down across the entire East Coast. He hasn't been told why.

Went to a Subway at ~7:15 this evening in a Columbus, Ohio suburb and the cashier said the whole Subway system (no pun intended) in Columbus was out since 3pm. Paid cash for a foot-long.
Place was empty. Must be a lot of hungry credit card holders out there tonight.

I’m on a Verizon wireless card right now near Albany NY. No problem.

It’s not phone service. It’s the computers in the stores and offices. Like they can’t pull up any account info on their computers or make sales, etc.

On a related note...I think I was shorted in french fries today with my Culver’s Double Butterburger Basket. I’d write the company, but I just don’t care that much.

All the salesperson said was they don’t know what’s causing the problem. He said he’s call when they got back up. Still hasn’t called so they’ve been out since 3:00 ET until now (8:40 ET).
They put up a “closed” sign up on the door. They close for real at 9 ET.
