Last year the school had us fill out the Free Lunch Eligibility form. We do NOT qualify. We noted that. Signed it. Turned it in.
Then they said we qualify. We told them we do not. Wouldn’t take it. MADE them take us off the list.
Wonder if they’ll do it again this year? Follow the money.

If you have high speed (3/4G), I would say yes. I have EDGE, so no.

“Must not have an overdue Comcast bill or unreturned equipment”. And 90% of those who were reading about this deal with interest just went “Damn!!”.

Free lunch, free cell phones, Section 8 rent assistance, food stamps, discounted cable ... where does it end?
Every cell phone user is subsidizing the free cell phones and you can bet that Comcast is building the cost of this into regular subscribers’ fees.

Comcast, which now owns MBC/MSNBC, is a very liberal corporation and its executives are big-time Democratis Party and Barack Obama supporters.
If you have a choice, get service from someone else.

The product of extortion. Comcast had to agree to this in order for the FCC to approve their acquisition of NBC.

I made that choice for reasons having nothing to do with politics. They are incompetent. They can't figure out how to send you an accurate bill, and their customer service is absolutely the worst!
Comcast is well known here in their home state as a Democrat tool. They are deeply plugged-in with the Philly Democrat Machine, particularly Ed Rendell.

Thanks for the quote.
I was about to write a nice capitalistic justification for the move, but seems it’s socialistic instead.

Anything the democrat scroungers want is now a civil right, and it's the slave laborers who have to provide it for them. If only that fit on a tagline.

Interestingly enough - in some states, my children would qualify for the free lunch program (including the one I live in now).
#1 - we have no need for the government to feed our children, we have no trouble feeding them.
#2 - it would entail me allowing the absolutely horrendous government schools to get their hands on my daughters. And THAT ain’t gonna happen!
But hey - why not another subsidized social program. I feel certain that this will be at least partially funded by taxpayers.
