He is famous for playing intellectual psychologist Frasier Crane, whose pompous self-regard was constantly causing him problems.
So it would seem that Cheers star Kelsey Grammer already has most of the qualifications required to go into politics.
However his former wife Camille's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars have mocked the star, claiming his checkered personal life gives him no chance of success.
