According to court paperwork, Preston became belligerent and was surprised that officers were arresting him. "Are you (expletive) kidding me?" Preston said, according to court paperwork. "What about the brotherhood?"

What do you bet if there hadn’t been witnesses he wouldn’t have been arrested?
"Seabrook Town Manager Barry Brenner said Preston has been placed on paid administrative leave."
So the Seabrook "brotherhood" is rewarding him with a paid vacation of indeterminate length. I'll lay odds the vacation lasts until retirement with full benefits.
I wonder if he would have been given more had he killed someone in his drunken stupor.
Ya think?!
“What about the brotherhood?”
That phrase frightens me the most... the assumption that nothing would occur because of the “brotherhood”. This isn’t like he expected not to get a speeding ticket for going 8 miles over the limit. Dang!
If he is smart his retirement paper work is bing drawed up right now.
As he is saying I have a drinking problem and I need help.
Wrong, cops expect to get by with 20 over the speed limit.
And their families I discovered.
Time for a visit to the Gray Bar Hotel?
“What about the brotherhood?”
“Don’t taze me, bro!”
“He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother.”
I know in my area, there was a rival between Maryland police agencies and Virginia State Police. Why? Because VSP wrote tickets. From my understanding, it was a known “message” that you wrote any VSP a ticket or you went to the full extent of the law if they were caught in a Maryland jurisdiction. To be honest, the whole “brotherhood” statement freaks me out a bit. How far does it go? Does it include rape, murder, burglary... or minor infractions?
It includes murder, cops in Indy cleaned out evidence from the cop car of a cop that was drunk, and ran over and killed a biker.http://www.google.com/m/url?client=ms-android-verizon&ei=-1I5TpiVIKaL8wbF6vt8&gl=us&hl=en&q=http://www.theindychannel.com/news/24583504/detail.html&source=android-browser-type&ved=0CCkQFjAD&usg=AFQjCNExVeZpTXoIuqBZgpmStN1hX-2VDA
Forgot to add the bastard is still working as a cop, and people here thought the governor would be a good president.
Well... you answered my fear/question. I have always said that if an officer was charged with a serious crime and I was a juror, I would REALLY question testimony from other officers (especially if they were in the same department). In fact, I guess I would have to rely on forensics and completely dismiss LENF testimony all together. Dang!
What forensics the police will just mess those up also. Like they did in the case that org.whodat stated.
“The brotherhood” mentality comes from the unionization and hence, corruption of police departments all over the country. That is why we see “the brotherhood” terrorizing and murdering citizens without consequence. The unions are marxist and Marxism is a toltarian - might makes right -ideology. Marxists have been known to commit mass murder against their citizen enemies.
End police unionization and retrain the idiots to operate in a constitutional ideology of justice. Same with all level of police - Federal to local.
Well I can't speak for the arresting officers but as a taxpaying citizen, I am certainly happy about his career being over. What a disgrace to the uniform.

“Police said in the paperwork that Preston admitted that he had been pulling out of a Salisbury club and “clipped” a car. He is quoted as telling an officer, “I am lit right now.”
I wonder if the “club” he was pulling out of was TENS ?
It is a strip club in Salisbury about 1 mile south of the NH/MA border.
