Gotta love it.
It's actually a good thing. It prevents local jurisdictions from enacting gun controls that are stricter than what the state has. Up until this point, many local jurisdictions had laws preventing concealed carry in parks or different areas. It's almost impossible to know the local laws in every different jurisdiction that you travel in and you can inadvertently break the law. One example was that one jurisdiction wouldn't let you carry a concealed weapon below the waist. If you were carrying in an ankle holster or thunderwear you were breaking the law.
