I am not a Harry Potter fan, but I think the Hobbits win in the end, don’t they?

Sorry if I missed the /sarc tag, but Hobbits are from Lord of the Rings; Harry Potter is, well, Harry Potter.

The Hobbits finish up by coming home scouring the Shire. Something that McCain and Friends should remember.

You are thinking of the wrong books. The Hobbits are in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, not Harry Potter, and yes they win at great cost.

Harry wins also.
