I forgive him for those gaffes. Anybody can get his tongue tangled up and use the wrong word, especially when stressed or exhausted, and it would be easy for me to say Nitally instead of Nittany since I'm not into team sports. Those things are silly but not serious.
The ones I don't forgive him for are stupid mistakes that reveal his beliefs and damage our foreign position, like deliberately and repeatedly insulting the British, or bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia.
