The new president is quickly learning he has to watch everything he says... Quickly learning? Time lies, of course.
Candidate Obama made so many miscues (usually saying what's apparently REALLY on his mind) that he all but abandoned extemporaneous speaking in any forum wayyy back during the election.
IIRC, Mister Obama has taken the prompter to a rodeo and even to elementary schools, lest he let his true self slip out.
With his sad (apparent) disability to speak extemporaneously (excepting rare occasion), Mister Obama might be regarded as the...
...Milli Vanilli of presidents.

Inhalator vs. breathalyzer and Penn State “Nitally” Lions are two more doozies!!I forgive him for those gaffes. Anybody can get his tongue tangled up and use the wrong word, especially when stressed or exhausted, and it would be easy for me to say Nitally instead of Nittany since I'm not into team sports. Those things are silly but not serious.
The ones I don't forgive him for are stupid mistakes that reveal his beliefs and damage our foreign position, like deliberately and repeatedly insulting the British, or bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia.
