If an ordinary citizen killed a homeless man he would be charged with manslaughter or negligent homicide and thrown in jail where he would sit unless he could make bail.
Policemen who kill get desk duty and feel bad because they are called names. Maybe it was an accident but why wasn’t the prime suspect charged until things are sorted out? It is not like there were zero witnesses.
They should have been arrested like all the other thugs.
