Are they voting on a version the public has had a very brief chance to look at? Or is this a new, improved version, anyone know?

Was anyone but me watching the "debate" on C-Span now? I don't know the black woman representative's name, but she this is what she wants for HER grandchildren (my paraphrasing, but not much):

"I want Headstart for my grandchildren.
"I want WIC."
"I want immunizations."
"I want research for food safety so their chicken nuggets are safe."
I want clean air and water, and jobs to invent things."
"I want them to be contributing citizens, and I want a safety net for them if they get cold in the night."

"I want my grandchildren to get the American Dream...and I yield back."

This is what we are up against, folks.
