The fact that Ryan is onboard with this gives me a little pause. He has always seemed very solid where cutting government is concerned.
I'm not quite sure what to think right now.

Ryan is from my state and we are proud to have him. His heart is in the right place and he has integrity. The problem is, he believes he can work "within the system" instead of seeing the need to "change the system". He views those around him as having an equal measure of his own integrity. And so, he falls for the "compromise" line and is willing to kick the can down the road a bit to give it a shot. He's a fine leader when the chips are up, but way "too nice" while the chips are down. We need leaders, like Minnesota's Bachmann, who will dig in and hold the line while dealing with socialists and communists. Being a cheesehead, I hate to give one to Minnesota, but I sure am proud of Bachmann. I think Ryan is a fine representative, but don't use his support for this atrocity as a measure of its worth. We are still working to get him to see the light.
