US a ‘parasite’ on world economy, says Putin

On August 1, 2011

SELIGER (AFP) – Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Monday accused the United States of acting as a “parasite” on the world economy by accumulating massive debts that threaten the global financial system.

“The country is living in debt. It is not living within its means, shifting the weight of responsibility on other countries and in a way acting as a parasite,” Putin told a group of pro-Kremlin youth in central Russia.

He also suggested that Washington may have been flirting with the idea of a default in order to weaken the dollar “and create better conditions for exporting their goods.

Ain’t it amazing? A communist - correctly criticizing our dim-bulb president and congress.

Once upon a time, our moniker in the halls of the Kremlin was Main Adversary. I've heard that that label has now been replaced by New Africa.

Dems learned it from you, a**hole.

Hah!

As the Dems took Marx and Lenin's work to a whole 'nother level -- the commies in Russia tacked to the right...

What a strange world.
A more fiscally responsible Government and truthful news media in old Commie Russia - and a communist government with a Big State cheer-leading Media in the Good Old United States.
Embarrassing.

It’s pathetic that we elected a President that’s too big a commie for even Putin.

“But the scary thing the totalitarian form of government did was that it killed the freedom and energy that no government can replace,” [Putin] said in some his sharpest criticism of the Soviet era.

The real scary thing is that a crypto-Communist understands how totalitarianism and an ever-expanding state destroys a country better than our leaders.

Well we do have a very large potion of our population who are parasites. They all vote a straight party ticket and love Obama. We also pay them to breed and provide free medical care for their offspring. Their proportion of the population is growing and I really think we are doomed.

Well, Gee. How does Russia pay its own way? Or does it?

I recall that when they had the USSR, Russia was like a tapeworm devouring the productivity of the Soviet satellites.

Russia is the parasite - along with all of the other parasitic nations who enjoy our largess - a largess they'd lose if it were up to me - I'd balance the budget by cutting everyone of the ingrates off.

Someone should remind Putin.....and Europe.....that the United States spent trillions of American taxpayer dollars defending Western Europe from the Soviet Union for a period of 50 years +.

And who footed the bill for the rebuilding of Europe after the war.....The Marshall Plan?

My late father used to call us “Uncle Sap.”

Funny, we accumulated a lot of that debt taking his country down. They went bankrupt before we did. We paid for a free Europe and we’re still paying today. Wonder if anyone pointed that out to him.
