A firebrand educator with ties to a white supremacist group is running a Bronx Catholic school where most of the students are black and Latino, the Daily News has learned.

Frank Borzellieri, 48, was quietly promoted to principal of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School two years ago - despite a history of controversial writings and campaigns, including a push to ban a biography on the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

In 2004, Borzellieri wrote the book "Don't Take It Personally: Race, Immigration, Crime and Other Heresies," in which he declares "diversity is a weakness" and says the rising black and Hispanic populations in America will lead to the "New Dark Age."

It's a Catholic school. I strongly suspect that, despite this hit piece, he's a fine educator with a reputation for getting results, else he would not have been hired.

I'll wait a year for the newspaper to publish an article about the high scores coming out of the school, but won't hold my breath.

Here's the link to his book. He's written a bunch, including Lynched: A Conservative's Life on a New York City School Board, about his 11 years as the only conservative on a NYC school board.

Regarding his posting on American Renaissance, I'm sure that the article author would consider being a FReeper to be just as bad.

headed back to school Wednesday where I work in a failing school district that worships at Obama’s altar. IGNORANT & reverse rascist administration. We are treated, well you would have your mouth open in astonishment if you were a fly on the wall.

Imagine the south during the Freedom Riders, but w/ white people ; you get the picture. I will be having a strong G & T tonight & Tuesday!

Thank you for this interesting link. I have never heard of him, but I plan to read his book about being on the school board.

I would weep in gratitude if he took over as the superintendent at my corrupt school.............so would half the faculty.........................

Oh, and don’t get me started on the Southern Poverty Law Center. (A den of communists, marxists and criminals with law degrees.)

You forgot con artists.

A few years ago, several former employees that left or were fired cooperated in interviews for some articles written about SPLC. Including how the org used scare tactics on the elderly to raise money and made up information about non-existant groups so as to also raise money, despite have a massive fund, and no longer needed to fundraise.

Let us take a look at this author, shall we?

Corinne Lestch

In her resume, she discusses that she used to work for:

Hm.

With a background like that, is there any possibility that maybe she is stretching the truth, taking things out of context, or fabricating things out of whole cloth?

After all, 'progressives' NEVER lie. ESPECIALLY if they are in the media.

Thank you for the new link.

From his blog; food for thought.:

"John O’Sullivan, the British-born editor of the conservative National Review magazine in the early 1990’s, put forward a doctrine which he christened “O’Sullivan’s Law.” The tenet of “O’Sullivan’s Law” was that any foundation — any organization funded through grants which ostensibly functioned as part-activist, part-think tank — which was not overtly right-wing, would inevitably become left-wing."

"O’Sullivan’s point was that even foundations that were not originally conceived as left-wing, but rather were neutral in ideological impetus, would by natural inertia become left-wing because liberal activists are naturally drawn to that which spends other people’s money. Furthermore, O’Sullivan asserted, as long as a foundation did not espouse a specific right-wing cause, that given organization was more easily co-opted by liberals. Therefore, an ideologically benign foundation designed simply to “promote literacy” or further “cultural awareness” would eventually fall into the hands of the left. “O’Sullivan’s Law” has proven to be true in much more than foundations."

Update: Bronx Catholic school principal Frank Borzellieri fired over ties to white supremacist group over his writing for American Renaissance.

Really, if he can be fired over writing for AmRen, then any of us are vulnerable over being on FR, which I'm sure the Daily News would consider a radical right-wing site.

American Renaissance column about the firing, where they point out that the guy has not written for AmRen since 2006.

Thanks so for the update. What a shame. Our Constitution has no meaning any more. We’re next. I’ve made the same point regularly as you have, that someday they will come for the FReepers.

I have more freedom than most since I own my own business. I do not fear reprisals from management for speaking my mind in any way I wish. My industrial customer base (the welding trades) is VERY conservative and they too, are free to actually speak and think without fear of reprisals too.

Thanks to our steady suicidal race for diversity, equality and political correctness, the conservative employee (on any level) is becoming more and more concerned about what will happen to him if he speaks his mind...so the system works...freedom of speech and thought slowly dies.

When they come for me I will die for freedom at my front door but I will take some of them with me.

The statement “Live free or die” is becoming more and more of a reality each day.
