its biggest flaw is the provision for massive Defense cuts IF a future deal cannot be reached.

Not so sure that's a negative completely...might get our troops out of Libya and Yemen and a few other places Bo wants to start further wars in.

While I understand your sentiment...I think it would be irresponsible to hamstring the Military just to keep Obama in line. Eventually, he does have to leave office. Having our military force structure drastically cut is not a good idea in an every more dangerous world.

Actually the defense cuts will come out of hardware and military pay to render us a pitiful defenseless giant which is what the anti-Americans in our politics and even in our party want. I can easily do without Libya and Yemen and it is outright dangerous on many fronts to allow wars to be run by the likes of Hussein so let him cut and run but preserve the wisdom of even more aggressive warfare when desirable. Make those wars devastating to the enemy, spectacular, memorable and bill every nickel to the defeated and make them pay. No nation building. No rebuilding what we destroy. Kill the enemy. Break his stuff. Do it quickly and get the hell out.
