Also you may have noticed as Rush has that Comrade O is signaling a new round of phony porkulus which will also add to the baseline for budgeting. The "GOP leaders" who spend their entire lives on their kneepads for the "millionaires and billionaires" will now get the wages of their ideological treason. If your motivation is avoiding tax increases, you may well be about to receive the same wages.

Although, in 1988, he came to Connecticut to plead with Republicans, pretty please with sugar on it, not to take Lowell Weicker's Senate seat away. We had had quite enough of that spoiled brat and NO ONE was going to undermine our determination. Weicker got about half the Democrat vote (the Demonrat half who craved his support for NARAL, Planned Barrenhood, his relentless opposition to Ronaldus Maximus and his habit of scuba diving with Fidel Castro. About 2/3 of Republicans voted for Joe Lieberman on four grounds: First, and most importantly, Lieberman is not and never has been Lowell Weicker. Second Lieberman is a patriot. Third, Joe Lieberman, in his personal life is a nearly Chassidic Jew of verrrrry conservative views on religion. Fourth, Lieberman made (and has kept) one unsolicited policy promise: that we would never see him ever cavorting with the likes of Castro, that Lieberman's in-laws were both Auschwitz survivors and that everyone in his family knew better than to aid dictators of any stripe. Even Hatch whose major hobby in Washington had been nursing Ted Kennedy through his nightly bouts of alcoholism knew better than to vote for the sellout today, bearing in mind the political extermination of his former ruling class colleague and self-imagined "conservative" Robert Bennett by Mike Lee. Hatch, facing a primary from Jason Chaffetz. Hatch is a quality RINO scalp, well worth harvesting and well he knows it. Whether he survives remains to be seen. He could not resist singing the praises of the RINO sellout but, well, he just could not bring himself to vote YES because it was an undefined smidgeon below his minimum. Utah is not Manhattan.
You can repeat infinitely your false claim of "realism." You made a Bravehert reference earlier. Do you remember the leprous Robert Bruce the elder. He thought he was a "realist" too. It was his son, known to history as Robert The Bruce, who was enraged against him for his corruption, and who vowed never to follow him again, who turned and pled with Wallace's men after his martyrdom, saying: You bled with Wallace, will ye nah bleed with me??? Then attacked Edward II's army at Bannockburn and won Scotland's independence from the dead hand of the Brit ruling class. Robert the Bruce may have been a nobleman but, starting at Bannockburn, he was a man's man. He too died of leprosy but he instructed that Wallace's successor, known as The Black Douglas, take his heart after Robert's death, put it in a small metal casket and carry it into battle in a crusade against the Muslims on the Iberian Peninsula. The Black Douglas did so and, I believe, was killed there but, in any event, the victory of Ferdinand and Isabella occurred a little over a century later. Fortunately, it won't take conservatives (who are not you) to politically exterminate the RINOs.
