I’ve spent time there. And Yes,,it is the land of the obedient follower. They all LOVE to think they are rebels politically,,,but of course, they mean rebel within the socialist framework of discussion.
And yes,,, the Germans LOVE their rules and order as much as they ever did.

But they have no room for the concept that free people get to be in charge, a voice, yes,, but not actual control. Try to homeschool a kid and you get arrested. Hate speech laws,,,Radical environmental laws. And of course, they are members of the EU. This is the actual government which the people **cannot** vote for. Germans can vote on silly local things, but they cannot overturn the laws of the true government,,,the EU.

Germans are well trained to follow the leader. They should stick to cars cooking, beer, and wines,, all of which they are very good at.

I have lived in Germany for four years and a total of 13 years in Europe. My wife is German and I have been back to Germany many, many times (almost yearly) over the past 40 years, including this past January for 6 weeks. Yes, Germans are organized and relatively disciplined as a society. They had to be in order to rise from the ashes of WWII and a level of destruction that is incomprehensible to most Americans. The Wirtschaftswunder was only possible because of the tremendous discipline and organization that allowed the country to emerge as one of the richest countries in the world. Even the East Germans were relatively more prosperous than the Soviets and the rest of Eastern Europe. Younger Germans are less disciplined and are not mindless followers.

The Germans are getting fed up with the EU and multiculturalism. They have been sacrificing, working hard just so the Greeks can retire early. The Germans have made the hard choices in terms of cutting social benefits. Merkel and the CDU have been taking a beating because of the bailouts. The Germans are not happy campers and will not see the country go down to save the EU regardless of how much pressure they get from the Frecnh. The Euro has proved to be a failure for most of the smaller countries who lost a tool to help them deal with their economic problems.

Germans are well trained to follow the leader. They should stick to cars cooking, beer, and wines,, all of which they are very good at.

Your remarks are laughable and show no real understanding of Germany and its people. Germany is the economic engine of Europe. It has come out of the worldwide recession better than the US. Merkel did not buy into Obama's stimulus crap and she was right. In fact almost all of the major countries in Europe are in better shape than the US in terms of unemployment and growth.
