The author is an idiot.

The Tea Party is trying to reduce spending.

The most certain way to end our form of government is to spend to the point that taxation enslaves the people.

The Tea Party intends to prevent that.

Read Genesis in the Bible about Pharaohs dream of the 7 good years and the 7 bad years. Pharaoh taxed the hell out of what the Egyptians produced and then sold it back to the people. Pharaoh took their money, their livestock, their land; everything until they sold themselves into bondage. We should learn a lesson from the Egyptians because the same thing is going on right now.

But the Tea Party is opposed to compromise, that lubricant of all legislative bodies. They practice a form of democracy, but in its rawest, most aggressive form.
